FABRIC

Minimalist band collar shirt made in French « Métis » fabric (mix of cotton and linen) giving it a hand that only compares to original 19th century French fabrics it is based on. It is soft and crisp at the same time thanks to the balance and high quality of its cotton and linen fibers. This fabric is woven for the brand in France, using late 19th century industrial looms, reproducing the historic feel and durability known to be characteristic of French vintage workwear garments.

FIT AND CONSTRUCTION

The shirt style is cut with a straight body fit, pleated sleeve, slim cuffs, double back pleat and curved hem. The band collar and cuffs are Hand Sewn using an embroidery stitch in Ivory silk. It is fully sewn using single needle French seams, giving it strength as well as clean finishing.

TREATMENT

This mid weight shirt is hand washed giving it its unique hand and texture.

FINISHING

Handsewn pearl color silk buttonholes, octogone real mother-of-pearl buttons.
