FABRIC

Unlined French organic cotton and linen summer jacket, featuring alternating patchwork of twill and herringbone weave. These fabrics are woven for the brand in France, using late 19th century industrial looms, reproducing the historic feel and durability known to be characteristic of French vintage workwear garments.

FIT AND CONSTRUCTION

Straight body cut with center back vent, one piece curved sleeve with arrow shaped button cuffs, one-of-a-kind « inseam » construction with 3 integrated pockets and "trompe l'oeil" patch pocket details. Fully cotton taped, using a tailoring construction, allowing for size and fit alterations by tailors.

TREATMENT

Oxidized Natural dye using Avocado, this hand dye process takes up to 6 hours and creates this unique color and patina. Avocado is a strong and lasting natural dye, giving a beautiful grey / silver color once oxidized, with subtle changes in tone on the fabric weave.

FINISHING

Handsewn keyhole silver silk buttonholes with 7 natural horn buttons.
