Reinterpretation of the original Handkerchief’s Paisley print, using a hand-rolled twill silk square measuring 90cm x 90cm.

 

TREATMENT

The print is created using a handsewn shibori technique, before naturally dying the scarf in Madder Red (Root, also called Garance) or Cachou Brown (Acacia Tree Bark).

 

This natural dye work, made by hand, requires up to 5 hours of meticulous work.
